Prof.Somnath Das is working as Asst. Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering. He has more than 8 years of teaching experience in under graduate and post-graduate level. His area of interest is Cryptography and Pattern recognition. He taught a very wide range of subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Numerical and Statistical methods, Design and Analysis of algorithms, Computer graphics, C–programming lang., QT-I, QT-II., Theory of Automata, AI. He also developed a project named “EduAid” - An Educational Aid for data structure to simplify teaching in data structure.

Mr. Dihudi is Sr. Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics.He has more than 6 years of experience in teaching undergraduate students of BPUT. Prior to his joining, he has worked 3 years as a resource person of Distance Education Cell (DEC), Currently he is pursuing Ph. D in the Department of Mathematics, Berhampur University. His area of interest is "Stability and Asymptotic behavior of solutions of difference and differential equations". Apart from this, Mr. Dihudi has published two research articles in the journals of international repute.

Mr.Parida is working as a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics. He has obtained his M.Sc degree from Ravenshaw University in the year 2009 and M.Phil from Sambalpur University in the year 2011. His interest area is differential equation and algebra(Abstract & Linear). He has one year teaching experience.

Miss Mohapatra is continuing Ph. D. In Material Science .Her research activities are based on “High Tc Superconductivity”. She has triumphed M. Sc.(PHYSICS) with Solid state physics as special paper. She is an excellent ,too pride to allure the people towards learned expressions of scientific field in our own time. She has also completed Master in Computer Application(MCA) from IGNOU. She has more than five years of teaching experience in graduate and undergraduate level. Her wide areas of interest are Material science and Engg., Physics of semiconductor devices, Quantum Mechanics, Mathematical physics,Electromagnetism etc . She is also a life member of Orissa Physical Society(OPS).

Mr. Pani obtained his M. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering with specialization in information security from NIT, Rourkela in 2009. He has more than 6 years of rich experience in both academics and software industry. He started his career as a senior lecturer in Indian Institute of Science & Information Technology, where he had taught a very wide range of subjects like Object Oriented Programming, data Structures, Analysis & Design of Algorithms, Operating Systems, Database Engineering, and Computer Networks. Prior to joining BIT he was working with ProcessMAP as a senior software analyst. His research interest includes Wireless & Ad-Hoc Networking, Mobile Communication and Network Security. He has two research articles published in international journals, one international seminar proceeding, and a book published under LAP international, Germany.

Mr.Aseem Kumar Patel has more than 4 years of experience in teaching and industry. He has earned his MCA from Center for IT Education (CITE), Bhubaneswar and M. Tech (CS&E) from BPUT with specialization in the area of Digital Image processing. He was trained from industries like Sun Microsystems, Redhat, Infosys under faculty development programs. Mr. Patel has also been awarded with Sun certified JAVA Programmer (SCJP) as well as…..(RHCE) Certification. Along with teaching he is also associated with the web deployment using PHP and .NET. He has rich expertise in Data Structure, Object Oriented Programming, Real Time System, Web Technology and JAVA Technology. He is currently focusing on the Network Security and Cryptography Application. He has published few papers in National Journal.

Mr.Jnana Ranjan Behera is a self driven and focused faculty in the Department of ECE at BIT. His prime motive is to enhance the Engineering intellect among students with his enzymatic teaching. Mr. Behera has earned his B.tech from JIET, Cuttack and Master degree from KIIT University. He has already published four engineering books on his fields which have got high repute among students. His interests lie on VLSI Design, Speech processing, and Mobile communication. Prior to joining BIT he was working as an Assistant Professor at REC, Bhubaneswar.

Prof. Prabhash Nanda Graduated in Electrical 
Engineering from IGIT, Sarang during 1992. He has more than 16 years of experience in various industries such as Tiltronix India, Modi Xerox, PEP Infotech and Sun Electronics. He has also 2 years of teaching experience at 
Meerut Institute of Engineering. He is currently pursuing M.Tech in Power sytems and Management.

Prof. Nanda has developed his core competency in developing training programs and skill enhancement for employees at industries that he served earlier. He makes training calendar, organize workshops and develop training modules. His team management skill involves leading, recruiting, training and monitoring the performance of employees. He creates a dynamic environment that fosters career development opportunities and motivates on high performance. Prof. Nanda received "President’s Gold" for Customer Care in 1995, "Ultimate Stake Award" Customer Satisfaction on Service Parameters (survey conducted by ORG Marg) in 1996 & 1997, "Grand Slam" Winner for 100% Customer satisfaction & Nationally No. 1 in 1999 and awarded Gold Medal at All India Level for the KAIZEN project on application of principles of Leadership Through Quality (LTQ).

Mr. Roy has earned his M. Tech in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Control & Automation from NIT, Rourkela in 2012. His research interest includes variable Structure Control System and development of renewable sources of energy. He has presented a research article on "Discretization of equivalent control based Sliding Mode Control" in IIT Bombay, at an IEEE sponsored International Workshop on Variable Structure Control System.
