Dr.Manoranjan Satpathy,M.Tech,Ph.D(Computer Science)

Dr. Manoranjan Satpathy obtained his Ph.D in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay in 1997. He has done his B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore in 1985 and his Post graduation in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1987.

His research interests include Software Engineering, Formal Methods and Programming Languages. Specifically Software Engineering with software/model based testing and model based development, Formal methods for Systematic development of control systems and distributed controller design, and Programming Languages with Register allocation, Program analysis and Memory management. He has guided more than 10 students in M.Tech and supervised 2 PhD scholars. He has more than 47 publications in different international journals and conferences. He has also filed 3 patents.

He has professional experience of more than 18 years at organizations of repute. As Staff researcher at Indian Science Lab., General Motors Global R&D, Bangalore; Senior Researcher at Abo Akademi University, Finland; Post Doctoral researcher at University of Reading, England for 6 years. He has also worked as a an Asst. Professor at IIT Guwahati.
