Bhubaneswar Institute of
Technology (Bit) is established by nonresident Oriya Professors from reputed US
universities and professionals from industries envisioning a world class Institute
in India. Bit is AICTE approved since August 2008.
Applications are invited for the

1) Professor/Assistant
Professor/Lecturer in the disciplines of i) Electronics & Communication Engineering ii) Computer Science & Engineering iii) Electrical & Electronics Engineering iv) Mechanical

Eligibility: As per the AICTE norms wherever applicable.
i) Professor: PhD. with 10
years of experience out of which 5 years must be at Asst. Professor level, retired
professors may apply.
ii) Asst. Professor: PhD./M.Tech
with 1st class at M.Tech /M.Sc. level and at least 2 years of teaching
experience in Degree Engineering College.
iii) Lecturer: 1st class M.Tech/ M.Sc.; B.E. graduates with excellent career may be considered.
iv) Technical Assistant: 1st class diploma in relevant branches with at least 3 years of work experience.
v) Lab Assistant: M.Sc./B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry with 4 years of work experience.
vi) Librarian/Asst. Librarian: B.Lib./M.Lib. with 3 years of work
experience.
vii) Workshop Instructor: ITI
with minimum 3years of work experience.

relations officer, Network Administrator, Data entry operator, Receptionist,
& Wardens for boys & girls hostels. In all cases the basic computer
operating skills are essential.

and in compliance with AICTE norms.

Position Advertisement: Director/Principal
The Bhubaneswar Institute of
Technology invites nominations and applications for the position of Director,
Academic. BIT is founded by academicians and industry
professionals from US and India in establishing leadership in learning,
research and services and preparing students for a global society. The
Director initiates, develops, coordinates, teaching and research designed to
improve knowledge and foster leadership in learning; develops and promotes
faculty and student research activity; and oversees the daily administration of
the Institute. The Director is supported
by a dedicated faculty and administrative officers and reports to the Governing
Body. We seek an individual with the ability, commitment, and enthusiasm to
provide leadership to pursue our commitment to build strong academic programs.
We seek candidates with
distinguished records of academic and administrative experience, and evidence
of excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Candidates must have an earned Ph.D. or its equivalent and a scholarly record
sufficient for appointment as a full professor at BIT. Preference will be
given to candidates with experience administering funded research projects and
those with a strong record of commitment to training and mentoring graduate/undergraduate
students and junior faculty.
