Administration

The philosophy of governance of BIT rests on the following assumptions: students, teachers and administrators in the institute are homogeneous communities and that they should coalesce into a well-integrated educational community and to have a sense of belonging; it is necessary to maintain and promote academic freedom; it is important to incorporate indigenous thinking into the overall philosophy of the institute to benefit the society to the maximum possible extent. The following guidelines will help BIT to live by the above philosophy: maintain and promote highest quality academic programs by hiring the best possible teaching staff, maintain adequate financing, inspire leadership qualities and inculcate intellectual and moral virtues among the BITians in everyday functioning.
