I believe in the
potential of the raw talents in our land.
They can be groomed to be the best in the world. This is my belief not
a
desire! It is based on 18 years of experience serving in senior
leadership
positions in fortune companies in the US, UK and India. Now is the time
- as we
are well positioned to seize the opportunity in front of us. However we
as a
country and as a community, we have work to do to get there. Firstly we
need to
recognize that this is our time; Wait and watch is not an option.
Secondly, we
must work towards significantly enhancing the "impact" of Technical
Education - On the ground Education is largely a one-way "delivery
model", it needs
re-tooling to be a two-way "learning model" to realize the true impact.
Finally, a holistic approach via an educational eco-system that evolves
continuously would provide sustenance for high impact education.
